It pairs perfectly with the pumpkin spice and purree.
Ingredients needed for Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate
This recipe will make 8 cups of pumpkin hot chocolate.
- 6 cups whole milk
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
- 1 can of pure pumpkin puree (15 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice
- 4 ounce bar of good quality white chocolate
- Optional garnish: whipped cream, mini marshmallows, cinnamon
When choosing your white chocolate, go with a high-quality brand.
This will make all the difference in flavor. The cheaper chocolate tends to leave a wax, tasteless after-feel.
While the high-quality chocolate is rich, creamy and full of flavor.
We used Ghirardelli white chocolate, and it was delicious!
Using the Slow Cooker For Hot Chocolate

Slow cooking the hot chocolate lets the flavors slowly meld into each other.
Cooking it on the stovetop would work too, just cook on low and reduce the time.
